GETTING ORGANIZED

Drowning in papers, mail or clutter? Is your email inbox spilling at the seams? In preparation of our next "SHRED" event hosted at the library, learn tips on organizing your files, what to keep, and what to shred. Learn a system to organize your files. Paper or electronic, there are things we need and don't need. Bring your laptop if you would like help organizing your personal files. Bring your email login information (username and password) so we can clean up your inbox and set it up to stop the tons of junk mail flooding your account. We will have handouts on organizing your computer and files, decluttering your email, documents that every person must have, a table of how long to keep important documents and what can be tossed, and some tips to de-clutter your life.

HOT TOPICS: HUMAN TRAFFICKING

What is human trafficking and how much of a problem is it in our area? What can be done? Captain Tricia Giordano, Investigations Division Commander at the Junction City Police Department, and Krista Blaisdell, Geary County Attorney, will be at the library to discuss this concern and the Flint Hills Human Trafficking Task Force that has been formed in Geary County.

UFOS: THE SECRET HISTORY DOCUMENTARY FILM

"UFO's: The Secret History" will cover the history of government involvement in UFO information release. It will also cover the social impact of the UFO Phenomenon on the general public. Discussion and question and answer session will follow.

Presenter: John Skare has been a UFO Field Investigator since 1977 with the North American UFO organization and later with the mutual UFO Network. John became the Kansas State Director for Mutual UFO Network Operations in 2009.
