EVENING DANCE

Seniors can get together with friends every other month for a snack and dance party at the Geary County Senior Citizens Center. Bring a finger food to enjoy during the break. Transportation is available. Call 785-238-4015 for a ride.

FITNESS AND FUN AT THE GEARY COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

The senior center has a host of regular activities to help keep you fit and have fun. Blood pressure checks and foot care are also offered periodically each month. LUNCH AT THE GEARY COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

A good meal with good company can be enjoyed each weekday at lunchtime at the senior center.

MEDICARE BASICS

SENIORS EATING WELL (S.E.W.)

This is a hands-on class designed to reach adults ages 50 and older. In this casual learning environment, seniors will increase their knowledge about healthy living, develop or polish food preparation skills for 1 or 2 people, establish goal setting and behavior changes needed for a healthier lifestyle, and have fun together in the process. Classes are offered as a 4-lesson series.

WALK 4 FITNESS

Join us every day to walk toward physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Walkers are encouraged to use our full-sized gymnasium. Just 12 laps around the gym equals one mile. Come down to enjoy the controlled climate!
