If you are associated with a non-profit organization looking for grant funding, this special library collection offers print materials on fundraising and nonprofit management as well as two online grant databases from the Foundation Center. Audiobooks & Ebooks Visit the Kansas EZ Library for downloadable audiobook - One Click Digital - and ebooks - 3M Cloud. (A Kansas Library Card is required to borrow online books from both programs. 3M Cloud is currently compatible only with Nook, Literati Reader, Kobo Reader and some models of Sony eReader.) Stay tuned for the summer launch of a new ebook borrowing program that will be compatible with most handheld devices! (The Audiobook, Music and More program was disbanded on 12/5/11 and is no longer available.) |

To
check out materials, you will need a library card. To obtain a borrower's
card, bring photo identification and proof of your current local mailing address
to the library and complete an application. Your new library card will be
issued at the time of application.
Parents may apply for cards for their children age 4 and older.

Public Library serves the residents of Junction City, Ft. Riley, Geary County
and surrounding areas. You are invited to visit the library and browse our collection
of books, magazines, newspapers, videos, books-on-disc, books-on-tape, and reference
materials as well as utilize our high-speed Internet service. You may call

Accessing
Learning Express Library just got easier. Now with 10 easy
steps you too can have access to Learning Express Library. With access
to this awesome service, patrons can improve job search skills,
prepare for career certification, raise college entrance test scores,
and improve 21st century basic skills all possible with just the click
of a mouse.
1. Logon to www.LearningExpressLibrary.com
2. Click the "Register" button under the "New Users" section at the bottom of the page.
3. Enter your 5-digit zip code in the Username field plus your 7-digitphone number, excluding the area code, spaces, or dashes (for example: 660101234567). Your username must be a total of 12 numeric characters.
4. Create a password (passwords must be at least 6 characters long, they can be alphanumeric, and they cannot contain spaces)
5. Verify your password
6. Enter your email address (this is optional but recommended for password retrieval in the event that you forget your username or password)
7. Click the "Register" button
8. Choose "Kansas State Library" as your subscribing institution
9. Click the "Continue" button
10. Print/save your registration confirmation page
NOTES:
For future logins, you will enter the LearningExpress
Library site as
a "Returning User" using the username & password you have just
created.
Setting up a personal
account is quick and easy, but there are a couple potential hurdles for home
users. If your computer is protected by a firewall, you may need to disable
it in order to log on and utilize Learn-A-Test. Your computer must also be set
to accept cookies. Learn-A-Test's cookies are not malicious, but are the kind
that permit you to navigate the Web site using your personalized logon name.
If you are unsure how to disable your firewall or enable cookies, you
can contact technical support for Learning Express at 1-800-295-9556.
